In 2020, Garmin introduced its form of mega imaging – a UHD (Ultra High Definition) sonar with the same 1000-1200 kHz range as a Humminbird MEGA side imaging sonar. Their Garmin Echomap and GPSmap units with UHD imaging helped restore the balance. Garmin transducer side scan issues *pics included*. Finally got back out to try and play and configure new echomap and running into issues with the side scan. I am not sure if this is line noise from other electronics, its too close to the motor , bad install or what. The regular down scan seems to work fine but i dunno what this is.
